What does the Competition module do?
The Competition module by ecomDNAI reads your website and your competitors' sites and turns them into a SWOT analysis with a positioning matrix, a feature comparison and recommendations — whatever the pages do not say stays visible as a gap instead of being invented.
You enter your website and your competitors' — and if you don't know any, the AI suggests some. Your website and the first five competitor sites you enter are read; positioning, strengths, weaknesses and market position are based on that content. Competitors suggested by the AI and pages that cannot be read are marked as estimates. The result is a SWOT analysis with recommendations on what to do differently.

Typical use cases
Check your positioning before a relaunch
You enter your website and your competitors — or let the AI suggest some; the first five competitor sites are read. The analysis sets strengths, weaknesses and market position side by side and shows in the positioning matrix where you stand. The PDF goes straight into the relaunch discussion.
Understand one competitor in depth
For individual competitors you generate a deep profile and a strategy for winning market share. The AI competition assistant answers questions about this very analysis — suggested or your own — and stores the answers with the project.
Turn findings into content
Recommendations become work: hand the analysis over to the Landing Page builder or the Newsletter and keep writing there with the competitive context in place, instead of retyping it.
Who it's for
Founders and shop owners who want to place themselves in their market, marketing teams ahead of positioning or pricing decisions, and agencies that need to understand a new client quickly. The analysis organises what is publicly readable — the judgement and the decision stay with you.
Frequently asked questions
Where do the statements about my competitors come from?
From the websites that were read — your own and the first five competitor sites you entered. In the feature comparison a dash means a page does not state something or could not be read; nothing is invented. Competitors suggested by the AI and unreadable pages are marked as estimates.
What do I get at the end?
A SWOT analysis, a positioning matrix, the feature comparison and strategic recommendations; per competitor, on request, a deep profile and a market-share strategy. Everything can be exported as a PDF report and CSV.
Can I ask follow-up questions?
Yes. The AI competition assistant knows exactly this analysis — competitors, SWOT, recommendations — and answers suggested or freely worded questions. Answers are saved with the project and labelled as AI-generated.
How does the module handle personal data?
The analysis describes companies, not people: contact details found on the pages read are filtered out before output, and the prompt is built for data minimisation. What you as the controller still need to consider is stated in a notice inside the module.
Which language is the analysis in?
The analysis language you choose in the form — regardless of the language of the websites read. You also set the target audience and country so the assessment fits the market.
What does an analysis cost?
The analysis, deep profiles, strategies and assistant questions are billed in credits — through a plan or pay-as-you-go; the module shows the credit requirement before each step. Signing up is free and needs no credit card.
