Product Similarity by ecomDNAI is an AI comparison engine: you specify a product — by URL, by hand or from an uploaded catalogue — and the engine finds the most similar items and competitor products and shows how they differ: price position, feature gaps, threat ranking.

Where does my product stand in the market?
You enter the product URL — title, description, price, specs and image are extracted — and let competitors be discovered online. The result shows the same product at other retailers, comparable items, the price positioning and a threat ranking.
Feature gaps in your own listing
The feature gap analysis names terms that are common in competitor titles and missing from yours, and the fingerprint comparison puts technical data side by side. That turns into concrete changes to your own listing.
Keep an eye on prices
Current prices you fetch at the click of a button from the product URLs, in a shared currency at the daily rate. Saved comparisons can be exported as CSV and your own products moved into the knowledge base as drafts.

Frequently asked questions
How do my products get into the engine?
By URL (recommended — delivers the most complete data), by hand, as CSV or Excel or from the knowledge base. A sample CSV shows the expected format.
Where do the competitor products come from?
Through "Discover online" the engine searches comparable items; you can restrict the search to countries and specific websites. Weighting, country search and website whitelist apply workspace-wide.
What does the weighted score mean?
It rewards the same category and similar brand positioning — the higher, the closer the comparison within the same niche. The workspace admin sets the weighting centrally.
Are the prices current?
Prices are read on capture and can be fetched again from the product URLs at any time; on request the display converts to a shared currency at the ECB daily rate. If a page has no price, the engine says so instead of estimating.
Which plans include the module?
The Starter, Expert and Pro subscription plans. In the pay-as-you-go plan the comparison engine is not included — the module says so and offers the switch.
